American Legion Post 29 Honors Veterans !!!

American Legion Post 29 Honors Veterans !!!

The Horace Orr Post 29 of the American Legion in Marietta  honors two Veterans at its monthly meeting.!   Commander Walt Cusick of the American Legion Post 29 presented Congressman Barry Loudermilk  from Cartersville and  Fox 5 TV personality and Political Consultant Phil Kent service awards for their help, and assistance in supporting the Veterans Outreach Programs of the American Legion.   Commander Cusick praised Congressman Loudermilk, a Air Force Veteran ,  and his staff for helping solve many problems for our veterans who were having difficulty navigating issues with the VA. Congressmen Loudermilk previously  spoke at the 100th year Anniversary of the American Legion Post 29 in 2019 and was a key note speaker at Veterans Memorial 5k and Military Appreciation.

Commander Cusick noted that Phil Kent, a Post 29 member , an Army Veteran ,  host of the Fox 5 “Georgia Gang” , and political consultant has for years championed veterans causes both in voice and action.   Phil Kent has also been an active legion member, plus a committee member of the Veterans Memorial 5k and Military Appreciation by aiding this event in promotion and advertising .

The Horace Orr Post 29 truly appreciates the service of these two outstanding individuals for their continuous service to our country, and the state of Georgia!
